About Us
"To become the Canadian breeder of choice for mini sport retrievers aka Miniature golden retrievers focused on revival of the original coloring of true original American Cocker Spaniel breed prior to the 1940’s: calico, harlequin, sable, roans, merles & parti’s while maintaining the look and temperament of retrievers. We take the 'HYBRID' out of our breeding by focusing on our dogs
needs and restoring the true original coloring & pedigree requirements to be recognized as a breed."
Pups are like babies they will sleep 4 or more hours in the day and play equally hard. I use kennels to train and when we leave as anyone under the age of 8 months doesn’t get to run around the house until there are no accidents and the chewing notion subsides as they love toilet paper. The main suggestion is love your new addition, play, and groom and walk them 30 or more minutes daily. We treat our dogs like extended members of our children and like all parents rules are important including structure. Something, I am firm on is everyone is in bed between 8:30 and 9 pm every night makes happy pups the next day and gives mom and dad a break from the bouncing bundles of joy. During training there will always be accidents and to be prepared for it until your bundle of joy learns to ask and communicate with you. Stress in the house will also cause accidents or bad behaviour they are sensitive to their environment just like we are.
We sought selected mates to focus on color, specific traits and characteristics. Our dogs display a kind expression and have personalities plus that are eager, alert while being self confident and great family pets.
