Sir Rhett Butler - DOB August 19, 2010 He is a merle.Not all merles have blue eyes. But they can! Or even partial blue eyes, or one blue eye, or one brown eye. There is a 50% chance of any puppies out of a merle being a merle. But you can only tell for sure at birth if they have the right coloring. Any of the pups could be hidden merles. A merle can never be bred to another merle; heirs that could be retained for future breeding programs will be kept to only be bred to purebred registered canadian bloodlines. Which is why for the current timelines any pups prior to leaving must be spayed or neutered!

Merle is a marbling color pattern that only effects the solid color. It does not effect white. Also, the "red" coloring, like cream, buff, gold colors can carry merle, but they cover it, to that it is not visible. It is very visible on black & chocolate.

Rhett is Mr. Mellow, taking life as it comes and loves to hang out, he is truly a Ma ma's Boy. He is Mr. Perfect; does what he is told to a point where you can tell he is showing off to the girls as if to say "Ha- now thats how its done girls!"

He tends to take the girls demands and caters to there whims. Such a good gentleman. He was a natural asker to ask to go outside, sit and tends to take the backseat when visitors come by.

He is a merle with 3 layers of coat, beautiful markings and retriever fan tail which he proudly carries to show off. He is 18 inches tall and a stocky boy. He is a true joy in our household and such a amazing personality.

Sir Beau Wilkes - DOB December 20, 2011 He is a Black Gold which is a very unusual and unique color that is very much like a tortoise shell cat. Though, with our Mini Sport Retrievers, they are born mostly black, and the gold coloring comes more, and brighter, with age. We believe it is a form of the sable coloring. An exceptional, head turning color! Everyone stops what they were saying, and is in awe when they see a dog with this coloring! Even our founder’s vets have been amazed! His pups will have the black gold or sable coloration to all the dark colors even in the patches. He is 14 inches tall at 4 months with anticipation of maxing out at 15 and a stocky boy. He is a true joy in our household and such a amazing personality. We call him lil Beau as he is so tiny but solid.

He has all his daddy's amazing colorations of the quad harlequin colors, is a true merle with crystal blue eyes, amazing fan tail and retriever nose, head and ears and at this point is showing true to the miniature sizing we will have his full size in another couple of months at this point he is weighing in at 38 pounds. Sam is co-owned with Cherie & Jim Wright and their children.

Ideal applicants must be CKC/AKC registered have been genetically tested with clear health screenings as we seek a clear line, must be no larger than 18 inches or weigh more than 40 pounds we prefer the females to be genetically smaller build and smaller weights- please dont diet your dogs we want historical records of family weights of 3 generations.
